an introduction....
Jan. 12th, 2012 05:31 pmThis is the first time I've taken Questing into another RP, so I thought it might be a good idea to give some background regarding her.
Questing is a genderbent version of the canon character Kurenai Wataru from the Japanese series Kamen Rider Kiva. Wataru, a shy young man, defends humanity from the Fangire, who are more-or-less stained-glass vampires. He himself is half Fangire, a fact that he doesn't discover until about 3/4th of the way through the series.
This version of Wataru came from a defunct Dressing Room on LJ; there were enough versions of him that we nicknamed them to keep them all straight, and this one was named "Questing" (a shortened version of her Fangire "True Name"). This is a female version of Wataru that was born to be the Fangire King. There are a few obtacles in her way, namely that Kings tend to end up as Kings by killing their predecessors, and Questing is female and half human to boot. (She got her powers by reflecting the previous King's deadly attack back at him when she was very very small.)
I, by habit, call her Questing in this journal, but she calls herself Wataru.
